Created to Nurture

Believing God has given women a special gift of nurturing it has been our joy to watch over the year our young girls developing this gift. A few weeks ago even as the girls were getting ready for the Prom our daughter Jayme arrived home with her 4 week old son Samuel, our eighth grandchild. To say Samuel has a pair of lungs would be an understatement. He cried from sunrise to sunset and then most of the night. Seulki however seemed to have a special touch with Samuel and was able to get him to calm down at least for a few minutes at a time. In the picture Seulki sits very quietly and calmly as Samuel slowly settles down.

Hae Jin who was a little hesitant to pick up Samuel too often because he was so small, nonetheless, shows her nurturing instinct with all of our grandchildren and even some of our staff members children. Here she is with Jenna the daughter of one of our dorm parents. Hae Jin who is full of energy and has cheerleading like enthusiasm shows a quieter moment with Jenna as she talks to her softly.

We thank God for providing opportunities for these young girls to develop this very special gift.
