First Snow – First Fire
While its only mid November we have already had our first snow fall. The girls were all hoping for at least a full meter of snow, but we received just enough to cover the grass. However, the temperatures did get below 20 degrees fareinheit and that according to Dottie and the girls was enough have be build our first fire of the winter season.
To celebrate the occassion we decided to do some cooking on the wood stove. The girls had never made smores so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to roast marshmellows and teach the girls the art of making smores. In the picture Ina is taking her turn at roasting her marshmellow and by the smile on her face you know she is looking forward to eating her smore.
