Parents from China
Throughout the year Dottie and I have the unique opportunity to play host to parents from around the world. Last year Dr. Wafaa El-Saddik and her husband Azmy visited their son Hadi and we were able to spend a few unforgetable days with Waafa and Azmy.
This week Mr. Dan WANG and his wife Yonhua LIU came to visit their son Weilun who is an 11th grade student at the Academy. They spent 3 days here and were able to visit all of Weilun teachers to get a report on his progress.
Weilun’s parents leave tomorrow afternoon on their way back to Beijing, China. While Dottie and I only were able to visit with them only briefly we were encouraged by their willingness to travel half way around the world to check on the progress of their son.
