Seulki’s Birthday

Today we celebrated Seulki’s 17th birthday. For the past 3 years Seulki has celebrated her birthday here in America away from her family so we tried to make it as special a day as possible. While students enjoy their years of study as students at Foxcroft Academy being away from home on holidays and special days such as birthdays is difficult.

To help make the day special and in keeping with our own family tradition we asked Seuki what she wanted for her birthday meal. Without any hesitation she knew she wanted pork chops and an ice cream birthday cake. You Jin and Jin had also gone shopping to buy Seulki an assortment of birthday gifts as did her friend “Jim”, who is pictured beside her at our kitchen table.
